Chandlers Ford Office

Bill Cuthbert FCA

Bill Cuthbert was born and educated in Kenya, completed articles in London with Deloitte and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1972. He subsequently spent 15 years in international corporate banking.

In 1991 he and Simon Ward founded the independent accountancy firm Cuthbert Ward, which developed rapidly and in 1996 joined forces with private client firm Fellowes & Co to form CW Fellowes. Bill continues to concentrate on corporate matters and works as a financial adviser to many clients.

Bruce Elkins FCA

Finance Director, Bruce Elkins, trained in Southampton and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1982, joining Cuthbert Ward in 1992.

He has extensive experience of the challenges facing small and medium-sized enterprises and tackles issues ranging from start-ups to retirement planning. Bruce also has a particular interest in the engineering, construction and property-related sectors.

Richard Green-Wilkinson FCA

Richard Green-Wilkinson trained with a national firm, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1973. He leads our Tax Consultancy Team and has extensive experience in all aspects of small and medium-sized practice work, with a strong focus on personal tax, trusts and financial planning.

He also advises on the complex tax planning issues surrounding corporate finance transactions and is frequently consulted by lawyers and barristers on the practical application of UK tax law.

Matthew Harrison CTA

Matthew joined CW Fellowes in 1992 as an accountant, having previously worked in industry and professional practice in the south of England. He subsequently specialised in tax and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1997.

A founder member of our Tax Consultancy Team, he specialises in providing bespoke tax planning solutions and advice to owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurs. Matthew also provides tax technical and strategic advice in complex HM Revenue & Customs enquiry and tax litigation cases.

Christa Spencer BSc, FCA, CTA

Christa trained with KPMG in Southampton, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1993. She subsequently qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1994.

Christa specialises in personal tax advice and wealth protection, and heads our growing team of tax specialists. She has extensive experience of all personal tax and trust matters, both in the UK and overseas.

Adam Wilson FCA

Managing Director, Adam Wilson, began his career more than 20 years ago in Smith & Williamson’s London office, before he moved to the south coast in the mid-1990s. His background in investigation and audit has involved him with businesses ranging from small, privately-owned companies to listed public limited companies, including complex foreign groups.

His investigation work has included due diligence assignments for bankers and other lenders and corporate clients, litigation support roles covering loss of profits work, valuations and general commercial disputes. He is heavily involved with professional partnership work, where he has advised on mergers and general partnership matters.

Mark Wright-Green

Mark joined the company in 1996 having trained with Brooking Knowles & Lawrence since graduating in 1981. He then worked in a senior position within Fellowes & Co, a firm specialising in the private client, professional and small business sector.

Throughout his career, Mark has specialised primarily in this small business sector dealing with small and medium sized enterprises and has gained extensive and wide ranging experience making him ideally placed to advise and help such businesses with their financial, accounting, company secretarial and taxation issues.

Fareham Office

Kim Beazley BSc (Econ), FCA

Having obtained an Economics degree Kim trained with Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC) in Southampton and qualified in 1975.  He joined Donnelly Hamilton Brent (DHB) becoming a partner in 1979. DHB merged with C W Fellowes in 2008.  Kim’s experience is in the local SME sector including sole traders, partnerships and incorporated businesses. He advises on accountancy, tax and planning issues for all situations from Start-ups/business acquisitions through to retirement/Sale.”

Peter Blades B.Com, FCA

Peter qualified in London with what was then Peat Marwick Mitchell before moving down to Southampton to join Coopers & Lybrand now PWC. In 1979 he moved to Donnelly Hamilton Brent which amalgamated with CW Fellowes in 2008. Peter has extensive experience in the SME sector involved in providing advice to a wide range of clients. Peter is part of our audit team.

Diane Dodd BA, FCA

Diane moved south after gaining a degree in Business Studies in Manchester and trained with Rothman Pantall in Southampton qualifying in 1981. She had been with Donnelly Hamilton Brent since 1985 until it merged with CW Fellowes Limited in April 2008. She continues to manage a portfolio of personal clients, SME’s, subsidiaries of foreign multi-nationals and a number of charity organisations.
