Roger Hurst

Roger HurstRoger qualified and was in practice with Burnett Swayne, a leading independent practice in Southampton, which was acquired by Numerica Plc in 2002. He was then a director of Numerica and subsequently of BDO Stoy Hayward on BDO’s acquisition of the Southampton Numerica office in 2005.

Roger joined CW Fellowes in December 2007 as an associate director in order to resume a more general practitioner role.

Roger has many years experience in advising family-owned and managed companies, including businesses in the transport, leisure, printing, property and agriculture sectors. His work in these areas has included advising in relation to mergers, acquisitions and disposals and various complex taxation and VAT matters.

Nicky Hopkins

Nicky HopkinsNicky joined CW Fellowes in October 1997, having previously worked in industry and other professional practices.

Subsequently Nicky became the manager in charge of our outsourcing unit, with her extensive knowledge of how a business can outsource the accounting function in full or part, taking into consideration management accounting, bookkeeping processes, VAT and PAYE legislation.

In 2010 Nicky was asked to move from outsourcing to take on the role of the firm's Operations Director.  In this role she not only oversees the day to day running of our growing business but is also tasked with assisting the Executive Board on various projects to help continue to expand and develop the firm.

Kevin Hudson

Kevin trained and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1998 with a respected independent practice in Farnham, before moving to join Grant Thornton's Audit and Assurance team in 2005, where he managed SME audit and advisory services for companies and groups with turnovers up to £50M, including, in particular, technology and entrepreneurial businesses, and worked closely with the corporate tax compliance & advisory teams.

Before joining CW Fellowes in May 2010, as an Audit Associate Director, he had spent the last spent 14 months looking after a portfolio of clients as a partner-designate for a 3-partner practice, taking responsibility for delivering uninterrupted service to all clients during extended leave of one of the firm's partners.

Carolyn Lintern FCCA

Carolyn Lintern FCCACarolyn trained with the Official Receiver’s office in Southampton, qualifying as a chartered certified accountant in 1980. She subsequently moved into private practice and joined Donnelly Hamilton Brent in 1984. Carolyn deals mainly with the accountancy and taxation affairs of small owner-managed businesses, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, but is also involved with the accounts of local charities and UK subsidiaries of some international companies. Carolyn has a particular interest in dealing with members of the medical profession and has been involved in this area for over ten years.
